Individual Healing Session

Sometimes a single session is all it takes to begin shifting something that has been held in the body for years.

This individual session is the same powerful starting point used in my bespoke programme. It is designed to help your body settle, release accumulated tension, and restore a sense of internal balance.

Many people arrive feeling tight, mentally busy, or simply aware that their body is not moving or responding as freely as it once did. Over time, life places demands on us — physically, emotionally, and mentally — and the body quietly adapts by holding patterns of tension.

This session is about allowing those patterns to soften.

What Happens During the Session

You will lie comfortably on the therapy table, fully supported, while I work gently with your head, neck, and body. There is no force, manipulation, or pushing the body into position.

Instead, I guide the body towards a more natural state of ease.

Using principles drawn from the Alexander Technique alongside my own healing work, I help the nervous system slow down and reset. As the body begins to feel safe and supported, it often starts releasing tension that has been unconsciously held.

Clients frequently describe this as a deep sense of letting go.

You may notice:

  • Your breathing becoming easier and slower
  • The neck and shoulders releasing tension
  • A quieting of the mind
  • Warmth or gentle movement through the body
  • A sense of calm spreading through the nervous system

The experience is deeply relaxing, yet it is also very active in terms of how the body reorganises itself.


Why This Matters

Many aches, pains, and feelings of being “stuck” are not simply structural problems. They are often the result of the body holding patterns of tension over time.

When the nervous system is under pressure — whether through stress, habits, posture, or emotional strain — the body adapts by tightening and bracing. Over the years this becomes normal, even though it limits movement, breathing, and energy.

During this session, we give the body the opportunity to let go of those patterns.

When that happens, people often feel:

  • Lighter in their body
  • More upright without effort
  • Mentally clearer
  • Emotionally calmer

It can feel as though the body remembers how it is meant to work.


After the Session

The effects of the session often continue to unfold over the following days.

Some people notice immediate improvements in how they move or feel. Others simply feel calmer and more settled, with changes becoming clearer later.

The body sometimes needs a little time to integrate the shifts that have occurred.

At the end of the session we can discuss what you noticed and, if appropriate, explore how further sessions may help you deepen and maintain the changes.

It can also serve as the first session of the Bespoke 5-Session Healing and Self-Mastery Package. If, after experiencing the session, you decide you would like to continue and learn how to maintain this balance for yourself, the £150 fee will be credited towards the full package.

This allows you to experience the work first and then decide whether you would like to go deeper, knowing that your initial investment has already been taken into account.
