I help people reconnect with themselves so they can move beyond persistent pain, stress, emotional overwhelm and the feeling that something in life just isn’t quite right. Using a blend of Alexander Technique, empathic somatic work and intuitive guidance, I help you uncover the root of what your body has been trying to tell you.
The aim isn’t simply to manage symptoms. It’s to help you create lasting change.
I work with people who know there must be a better way to live.
Many of my clients are successful in their careers and outwardly appear to have everything together, yet privately they struggle with pain, tension, anxiety, burnout or a feeling of being disconnected from themselves.
Some come because of physical pain. Others arrive because life has lost its spark. Most discover that body, mind and emotions are deeply connected.Every person is different, so your journey is tailored specifically to you.
Clients commonly seek support for:
- Neck, shoulder and back pain
- Poor posture
- Persistent tension
- Stress and burnout
- Anxiety
- Emotional overwhelm
- Chronic aches and pains
- Movement difficulties
- Recovery from injury
- Building confidence and resilience
- Feeling disconnected from themselves
If you’re unsure whether I can help, simply get in touch for an informal conversation.
Every session begins with listening.
We’ll talk about what’s happening in your life and how it’s affecting you. I’ll observe how you’re moving, breathing and responding before guiding you through gentle movements, practical techniques and, where appropriate, deeper somatic and intuitive work.
Most people leave feeling calmer, lighter and more aware of themselves. Many also notice improvements in movement and pain.
Depending on your needs and the approach we agree together, I may use gentle, professional hands-on guidance as part of your session.
Your consent always comes first. Before any touch takes place, I will explain what I would like to do, why it may be beneficial, and ask for your permission. You are free to decline or withdraw your consent at any time, and your decision will always be respected without question.
Many sessions include little or no physical touch, particularly online appointments or where verbal guidance is the most appropriate approach.
No.
Your comfort, dignity and sense of safety are central to every session. Hands-on work is only ever used with your informed consent and only when it supports your goals.
If you prefer not to be touched, I can guide you using verbal instruction, movement and observation instead. Many clients achieve excellent results without any physical contact.
Creating a calm, respectful and supportive environment is one of the foundations of my work.
You’ll always know what we’re doing, why we’re doing it, and you’ll be encouraged to ask questions at any point. Your feedback matters, and we work together at a pace that feels right for you.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. Loose-fitting trousers, leggings, shorts or a comfortable top are ideal.
You will remain fully clothed throughout your session. Comfortable clothing helps you relax and allows me to observe your natural movement without restriction.
Not at all.
Many people come because they want to prevent future problems, improve performance, feel calmer or reconnect with themselves before stress begins affecting their health.
No.
Although my work often helps people experiencing physical pain, it isn’t physiotherapy. Instead, I help you understand how your body, mind and nervous system work together, enabling you to move with greater ease and return to a more natural state of balance.
Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I look at the whole person.
Physical discomfort often has emotional, behavioural and lifestyle influences. By addressing the underlying patterns rather than simply chasing pain, many clients experience improvements that continue long after the session has ended.
I also teach you practical skills that you can use every day, helping you become less dependent on ongoing treatment.
Everyone is different.
Some people notice significant changes after a single session, while others benefit from a series of appointments that allows deeper habits and patterns to change.
After your first session, I’ll recommend what I believe will best support your goals.
Yes.
Many aspects of my work are just as effective online, allowing you to receive support from the comfort of your own home.
Face-to-face appointments are also available if you prefer.
Possibly, but they won’t be endless routines.
You’ll usually receive simple, practical guidance that fits naturally into everyday life, helping you continue making progress between sessions.
Sessions typically last around 90 minutes, giving us plenty of time to explore what’s happening without feeling rushed.
An individual session is £150.
If ongoing support would benefit you, I’ll discuss the most appropriate programme or package for your circumstances during your first appointment.
However if you book a block of 5 sessions within 4 months the total for these 5 session is £500.
Simply get in touch through the contact page, email or telephone.
We’ll arrange a convenient time and answer any questions before your first appointment.
That’s completely understandable.
Choosing someone to support your health and wellbeing is an important decision. If you’d like to find out whether we’re a good fit, get in touch for a friendly, no-pressure conversation. If I believe another approach would serve you better, I’ll happily tell you.
No. You don’t need to believe in energy work to benefit from a session.
Many people come to me because they have persistent pain, stress, tension or simply feel that something is out of balance. Some are curious about the Energy Alignment Method, while others have never heard of it before.
My approach isn’t about asking you to adopt a particular belief system. It’s about working with you as an individual—listening to your story, observing how your body responds and helping you recognise patterns that may be contributing to how you feel.
If I feel that elements of the Energy Alignment Method could support your progress, I’ll explain what I’m doing and why. You’re always free to ask questions, choose a different approach or decline any aspect of the session.
Every session is unique, but depending on your needs I may draw upon:
- Alexander Technique
- The Energy Alignment Method (EAM)
- Gentle hands-on guidance (with your consent)
- Movement awareness
- Breath awareness
- Nervous system regulation
- Somatic awareness
- Guided self-discovery
- Practical strategies to help you continue your progress between sessions
Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I choose the approaches that best support your goals, helping you move with greater ease, feel calmer and rediscover confidence in yourself.
